Handyman

My dad is showing me how to be a handyman. He painted the bathroom and last weekend I helped him put up some towel racks. I helped him pick out the right drill bit for his electric drill, and I unwound the extension cord. Playing with power tools is a highly recommended baby activity! Mom said afterwards that if I had done all the work maybe the towel racks would have been put up correctly.

Truckload of Art

Two weekends ago it wuz rainy, so I went to the Blanton Museum to expand my horizons. Here I am with daddy trying to figure out what Cildo Meireles' "Missão/Missões (How to Build Cathedrals) means. It is a sculpture with 600,000 pennies, 2,000 bones and about 800 communion wafers. Pretty wild. The museum had real high ceilings, and I tested out my vocal chords to hear the echo, but mom said that wuzn't good etiquette. . whatever that means. . .

my bro

My girlfriend Mandy got my brother this t-shirt. One of my brother's favorite things to do is bark at squirrels. I've seen him go after those little critters in the yard, and man, he really doesn't like them. I don't who he doesn't like more, the squirrels, or Spooky the cat who lives next door. Luckily he likes me though. He's a good brother, and he protects the family from the BAD SQUIRRELS!

Moe the Camel

I met this guy Moe the Camel on Saturday. He wuz hanging out with some goats, a pot bellied pig, and a giant turtle. Mom and dad rented a movie called "The Tale of the Weeping Camel", and I watched that with dad after I met Moe. The movie had camels like Moe in it and I thought it wuz a pretty kool movie.

We're Jammin'

For last night's set, I started with a few solo numbers on the old recorder. Then I had my mom join in on harmonica for a couple of duets. Dad and I are working on some collaborative pieces as well. Thanks to my Washington DC girlfriend Lola for sending me the instruments.
